JEE Main 2022 Application Process: All That You Need to Know

Step 1: NTA JEE Main 2022 Exam Registration

When you register for the JEE Main exam, you have to input basic details like your name, contact number, and email ID on the official website. You also need to create a password and answer the security questions correctly.

Step 2: Complete the JEE Main Application Form

Step 3: Upload Relevant Documents

• JEE Main 2022 application form for Session 1 or the June session was released on March 1, 2022, and the last date to submit it was April 5, 2022.
• The correction dates for the JEE Main 2022 Session 1 application form were April 6 to 8, 2022.
• The JEE Main 2022 registration for this first session was reopened from April 18 to 25, 2022.
• For Session 2 or the July session, JEE Main 2022 application form was released on June 1, 2022, and the last date to submit it was June 30, 2022.
• The correction dates for the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 application form were July 1 to 3, 2022.
• The JEE Main 2022 registration for this second session was reopened from July 6 to 9, 2022.

 

JEE Main 2022 Application Fee

 

Boys from General, OBC, or EWS categories have to pay INR 650 to apply for one of these courses:

• B.E. or B. Tech courses
• B. Arch courses
• B. Planning courses

All the other candidates have to pay INR 325 to apply for one of these courses.

 

Boys from the General, OBC, or EWS categories who want to apply for two or all three of these courses have to pay INR 1,300. All other candidates have to pay INR 650 to apply for two or all three of these courses.

• In JEE Main 2022 Session 1,8,72,970 candidates registered for the exam while 7,69,604 candidates appeared for it.
• In JEE Main 2022 Session 6,22,034 candidates registered for the exam while 5,40,242 candidates appeared for it.
• The number of candidates who registered for both sessions of the JEE Main 2022 exam were 4,68,205 but only 4,04,256 candidates appeared for both sessions.
