Every year lakhs of students appear in the JEE Main with an aim to pursue engineering from the best universities and colleges in India. Almost 11,70,000+ students registered for JEE Main 2024 Session 1, while over 11,50,000+ students registered for Session 2. JEE Main 2024 was conducted at 544 examination centres in 319 cities across India and 22 cities abroad. JEE Main score is accepted by NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and some other private colleges in India that offer engineering courses.
Approximately 110 colleges are accepting JEE Main 2025 scores, including 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 33 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), and around 20 other government/private engineering colleges.
Yes, many private colleges in India consider the JEE Main scores for admissions. You must check their websites to know more.
Your JEE Main rank should be less than 50,000 if you want to seek admission in any of the NITs.
