NIT Agartala JEE Main Cut Off 2022 - Latest Updates

NIT Agartala is a technical university established in 2006. According to the NIRF rankings in 2020, NIT agartala received 52nd rank which is a big achievement from 72nd rank in 2019. Even though the university was established in 2006, NIT Agartala has its roots in the past. Earlier, NIT Agartala was founded as Tripura Engineering College in 1965. It was in 2006 when it was declared as a NIT (National Institute of Technology). NIT Agartala reported a 90% placement record in 2019 which is why many students want to pursue engineering from this NIT.

Admissions to the B.Tech courses of NIT Agartala are done on the basis of JEE Main scores and Class 12 performance. So, students must not neglect their Class 12 exams while preparing for JEE Main. Students who appear in the JEE Main and wish to seek admission in this college must participate in the counselling sessions conducted by JoSSA. Not many students would know this but NIT Agartala is the first NIT in India to have a Kendriya Vidyalaya within the Campus itself and 2nd NIT in India to offer a dual degree program in Physics.

NIT Agartala offers 11 specialisations in B.Tech namely, Bioengineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. The CSE program of B.Tech is quite popular amongst students. NIT Agartala Charges a fee of INR 1.5 Lakhs per year for its B.Tech program.

There are approximately 150 seats for the B.Tech programme.
