IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology) Vadodara will offer admission to various engineering courses on the basis of marks secured by candidates in JEE Main 2022. The cutoff is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for the selection of candidates. A merit list will be prepared based on these cutoff scores. Candidates who apply for the institute need to clear the cutoff of JEE Main 2022 to finalize their seats.
Established in 2013, IIIT Vadodara is one of the 20 IIITs set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. While the land for the permanent campus of IIITV has been allotted in Gujarat Knowledge City Dumad, Vadodara, right now it is running from a temporary campus situated at GEC Campus, Sector-28, Gandhinagar.
Admission to B.Tech programs at IIIT Vadodara is done based on JEE Main followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling. JoSAA Counselling is conducted for candidates who have qualified JEE Main. The institute offers admission to M.Tech programs based on GATE scores followed by counselling conducted by CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech).

IIITV offers B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD programmes.
Admission to undergraduate engineering programs IIITV are done through the JoSSA's centralized counselling process which is based on candidates' JEE Main All India Ranking (AIR). The seat matric is based on GoI (Government of India)'s mandate on reservation across different categories.
Since the institute is operating from a temporary campus, it does not have its hostel. But it has rented private premises in a residential society, which has 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats. 2 BHK flats are shared by 5 students while 3 BHK flats are shared by 7 students. Each flat has a kitchen. A mess facility is also available for hostel residents.
IIIT hostel is 16 km away from the college campus. However, bus service is available for students to commute between the hostel and the institute.
Right now, the institute does not offer any scholarships, fee waivers, government grants, or financial assistance to students.
