Change in Eligibility Criteria of IIT JEE 2010 2011

This may a good news for those who had scored 80% or above in their 12^th boards examination.The issue of incrementing the minimum required percentage criteria from 60% to 80% have beenproposed by honorable minister Mr. Kapil Sibbal. According to him more weightage must be given to plus two exams. This is a proposed plan likely to be effect from academic session of 2010-2011, which says "the students who will be scoring 80% or will be eligible to appear for Joint entrance examination (IIT JEE) for the admission to the prestigious institutes of technologies".
