Many studies have also proven that most of the current generation prefers to study on their own and clear the exams. And the best part is that they have been successful in doing so. You do not need JEE coaching; all you need is good books, proper guidance and self perseverance.

So the answer to the question: Can I clear JEE Examination without Coaching? Would be a definite YES!

Initially when you start studying on your own, you might face the problem of irregularity and lack of concentration. But this problem will still persist if you join coaching and are not serious about it. Thus, do not let them become a hindrance in your preparation process. Think, plan and chalk out a strategy to study and stick to the plan. Here are the few guidelines that will help you to prepare and crack the JEE examination:

FocusYou need to make sure that you are focused and know what you want to achieve. You need to have a positive approach towards studies and should be mentally prepared for the same. Tremendous efforts are required mentally and physically.

Manage Resources

Manage ResourcesBefore you decide upon the guides and study material, you need to ensure that you know the entire syllabus thoroughly. Collect the material or refer to those only which are required. Make sure you have basic study material and it is simple to understand. You should also refer to previous year’s question papers to gain more practice and insight on the examination pattern.

Time Management

Time ManagementYou need to be particular about the time management and should utilize it in utmost manner. You should be strict in following the time plan prepared by you. Prepare notes so that you can easily revise them.  Mark all your doubts and clear them with your teachers or JEE experts. Also, you need to practice more and more practical problems to gain hands on them. Thus, you need to plan and strategize your time to achieve the maximum benefit from it.

JEE Experts

JEE ExpertsWith the advancement in technology and the huge scope of information available online, try to communicate with as many JEE experts as you can. You can get in touch with these experts online and can ask or solve your queries. They are a best source to know ‘Do’s’ and ‘Don’ts’ of the JEE examination.

Group Study

Group study is one of the great sources to study and prepare for exams as it allows you to solve your queries and learn new things. It also strengthens your skills, as you get a chance to study with competitive minds. Group study is not only restricted to studying with other aspiring students, but you can also have a group discussion with teachers and other students. Discussion with teachers, will give you varied ideas to solve the questions. But, do not try to have a group study if you are not comfortable with it, as this will be shear wastage of time for you.

RevisionIt is necessary that you do a thorough revision and multiple revisions if you want to clear the examination. It will help you to remember the concepts and also improve your speed in tackling the problems in paper. It will boost your confidence and it will give you a clear idea on the areas that needs more focus.

Make sure that you get at least 8 hours of proper sleep and you are eating a balanced diet, otherwise it would be very difficult for you to focus on your studies.
