Preparation Tips

JEE being one of the toughest exams to crack, it opens doors for the biggest and the most reputed institutions of the country. While preparing for the exam the students must understand the paper and prepare accordingly. The JEE Advanced is much tougher than the JEE Main as it is the last stage for the clearing the JEE and take admissions. Nervousness is a must but the students also need to understand the importance of the time and prepare accordingly. Prioritize the subjects with maximum chances of questions coming from.

After analyzing the past years JEE Advanced papers it is very clear that the candidates must pay their attention on the subjects that have the high chances of questions appearing from them. For instance, topics such as Vectors and 3-D, Probability or Indefinite integration and related topics are to be studied thoroughly as far as the variations in the questions are concerned, the vectors and 3-D has lesser scope to the examiner.Students can use ABC Technique for prioritizing the tasks:

  • A – Very urgent and important tasks

  • B – Important but not urgent tasks

  • C – Neither urgent nor important tasks

Set realistic goals:

To move ahead you always need goals, without goals it is worthless to move. While preparing for the JEE advanced the students must set a goat or target to achieve and not just setting up the goal but to function in the best way possible to achieve those goals being set!

  • Not to deviate from the goals by having a strong level of concentration can let you achieve anything in life!

  • By setting up the vision which is achievable and not exaggerating the potential that can help a lot while preparing for entrance exams.

  • Be positive, always?

Analyze your performance by tests

To know the result of a task done, test is the best method! Practice the test paper everyday and once or twice in a week appear the mock tests to gain the idea of the weaker sections so as to prepare and build a strong base.

  • Candidates can appear several online and offline mock tests available to have the complete idea of the subject and their weal areas.

  • This can not only let them know their weak portions but can also boost confidence in the subjects they did well in the mock tests.

  • If the scores are not satisfactory in the mock exams, they still have time to prepare the part they need to, and they need not to worry about the final exam!
