When the porter is quickly led around the corner, the direction of the angular momentum vector of flywheel is changed. The porter must apply the torque to account for the change in the direction of the angular momentum vector which must be in accordance with .

If the porter does not apply the torque in the direction of change in angular momentum of flywheel, the suitcase will fall out of balance.

Three identical balls are placed on a frictionless horizontal surface touching each other. They stick to each other because of adhesive. Another ball of same radius and mass m is placed over the void created by the three balls. Find the forces applied by the balls kept on the floor to each other if the system remains in equilibrium.
