Polyp and meduca are the two forms present in cnidarians . Polyp reproduces asexually whereas meduca reproduces sexually

polyp and medusae are the two forms. polyp is sessile and cylindrical shaped and medusae is free swimming and umbrella shaped.

example of medusae- all members of class scyphozoa
members of claa hydrozoa undergo metagenesis i.e poly produce medusae asexually and medusae produce polyp sexually
