Mitosis and Meiosis are the type of Cell Division where:
Meiosis is the type of cell division in which number of chromosomes reduces to half from diploid to haploid by which production of gametes occurs. Also called Reductional Divison
E.g. Formation of male sperm cells
Mitosis is the type of cell division in which number of chromosomes remain same in daughter cells. Also called Equatorial Divison
E.g. Forms everything other than sex cells.
