What happen if we add blue green algae in domestic waste instead of earthworm.??

Dear student 

Earthworms is detritivore. It breaks organic waste, degrade so that microorganisms can act on it and convert it in humus.

Humus act as reservoir of nutrients for plants.

But blue green algae can not perform the function of degradation, so it is not used.
