dear nihala
hybridised dna fragments can be detected by the method known as autoradiography .
VNTR vary in size from 0.1 to 20 kb .
so, in autoradiogram the band of diffrent size will be obtained .
these bands are charecteristics of an individual .

and application i already mentioned – hybridised dna fragments can be detected by this method .
