At normal physiological conditions the Arterial blood carries about 20ml O2/100 ml of blood.
And the venous blood carries about 15ml O2/100ml of blood.
Thus approx 5ml oxygen is transported to the tissues. i.e., about 25% of the oxygen present in arterial blood.
