sea urchin dnt have any significant diffrence than thats happening with other animals 
i am mentioning here the normal diffrence 
SPERMATOGENESIS 
1- SPERMATOGINIA changes into primary spermatocyte 
2- primary spermatocyte divide to form secondary spermatocyte 
3- secondary spermatocyte divide into 2 spermatids  
4- no polar bodies is form 
5- a spermatogonium form 4 spermatozoa . 
OOGENESIS 
1- oogonia changes into primary oocyte 
2- primary oocyte divide to form 1 secondary and 1 polar body . 
3- polar body will form 
4- secondary oocyte divide to form 1 ootid and 1 polar body .
