Sir please explain seminiferous tubules in detail and it`s types?????

Hi ! d.raman ,

              Seminiferous tubules is the structural and function unit of mammalian Testis.It is responsible for production of sperm.It is available in two type it testis-;

                                            (i)SERTOLI CELL;- These cells are responsible for providing Nourishment to the developing sperm.

                                             (ii)LEYDIC CELL;- These are responsible for producing male sex harmones(testosterone).
