Liver is the largest gland in our body which has many functions. One of the function is to produce bile juice. Glisson capsule is the covering of liver made of connective tissue.
Bile juice has important functions like Emulsification of Fat( breaking down of fat in small globules). Remember that bile has no digestive enzyme .It has an important part in the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins.It also reduces the acid content of the chyme (the acid treated food molecules coming from stomach).
