in the attached images why myosin in top and albumin is in bottom ]

should’t it be opposite as albumin is light so it should be at top and myosin being heaviest at bottom

Once the proteins are in the running gel, they are separated because higher molecular weight proteins move more slowly through the porous acrylamide gel than lower molecular weight proteins.So the myosin will be at top and albumin being the lightest at the bottom.
