Dear student

Two ways of solving

First simple transform given eqn to quadratic eqn x= 1

So x exp (99) + (1/x ) exp(99) = 2

Second way

Find (x^2) + (1/x^2) , then (x^3)+(1/x^3) and so on

All will result in 2

Regards
