  • If you check that water the DDT is less and
  • planktons will be accumulating more DDT as they live in it
  • Fishes feed on more no of planktons which lead’s to increase in accumulation of DDTin them
  • Grebes feed on more no of fishes which lead’s to increase in accumulation of DDT in them
Such gradual increase of DDT in the increasing order of food chain
