division of labour in the case of mammalian cells are performing by the cell in our body , also without division it would be difficult for the humans to adopt into a diffrent enviornment . 
and next to that  every cell have a unique function for that , and no otrher cell probably not do that work . so, they have diffrent shape . 
neural cells are usually branched and very long as they need more space to transmit the signals . 
due to their long size they can easily carry message from one place to anathor .

The shapes of mammalian cells vary widely mainly depending on their interactions with each other, their internal structures and extracellular environment.
Their surfaces are often highly folded when  transport or absorptive functions take place across their
boundaries.
