THE DISEASE IS NOT A BACTERIAL DISEASE. IT IS A DISEASE CAUSED BY PROTOZOAN PARASITE.
ENTAMOEBA HISTOLYTIC IS A PROTOZOAN PARASITE WHICH CAUSES AMOEBIC DYSENTRY

ACTUALLY THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF DYSENTRY. DYSENTRY INFECTIONS IS CAUSED BY BACTERIA AND PROTOZOAN AS WELL. DYSENTRY CAUSED BY PROTOZOAN PARASITE IS THE MOST COMMON. SO I THOUGHT THAT YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT THAT.
OTHERWISE BACTERIA WHICH CAUSES DYSENTRY IS Shigella
