Dear student
Exonucleases are enzymes that cleave DNA sequences in a polynucleotide chain from either the 5' or 3' end one at a time. Endonucleases cleave the nucleotide sequence from the middle.

Exonucleases are nuclease which cut off nucleotides from 5′ or 3′ ends of DNA molecule. Endonucleases are nucleases which cleave DNA duplex at any point except the ends. Leading to blunt or sticky ends.
