Describe the process of absorption in the small intestine?

When we take some food components the process of breaking of food starts from mouth. Then it goes to stomach then the stomach stores for 2 or 3 hours and the food goes into small intestine it first goes into duodenum in which the food is completely digested with the help of bile juice secreted by liver and pancreatic amylase and pancreatic juices are secreted by pancreas .In small intestine small finger like structure is present called villi which helps them to absorb salts and minerals
