Dear student,
metabolism of 95 percent fats(ester of glycerol and long chain fatty acids) to tri, di and monoglycerides in our body takes place by lipase catalysed reactions.

Lipase enzyme is activated by bile salts secreted from liver. Thus we can say that bile salts enhances the catalytic activity of enzyme lipase and achieves fat metabolism in body.
