Dear Sameer

Total carbon dioxide in venous blood is 52 ml per 100 ml and in arterial blood 48 mlper 100 ml. ... and the haematocrit of venous blood is some 3% more than arterial blood. The plasma concentr
ation of chloride ion is lower but bicarbonate ion concentration is greater.

Hope it helps.
