Split genes are found in the eukaryotes i which soding sequence (exon) is interrupted by noncoding sequence (introns).In eukaryotic pre mRNA processing, introns that interrupts exons are spliced out and two flanking exons are joined. It occurs in nucleus in pre mRNA molecule before it enters the process of translation.
