Why only transverse waves be polarized....why longitudinal not?are they already polarized...

Dear Student,
As we as a whole realize that 
In Transverse wave,the vibrations are opposite to the wave bearing. Though in longitudinal wave, vibrations will happen in all the course which is opposite to the travel heading. What's more, this is the fundamental reason that exclusive transverse waves be enraptured and longitudinal waves are not spellbound.
