Uv rays are passed through 2 different obstacles---one made of quartz glass and the other of ordinary glass.will the shadows be of same darkness?why?

UV is significantly blocked by ordinary glass. But this is not generally true for Silica or quartz glass. Thus the darkness of the shadow will be more in case of ordinary glass than quartz glass.
