question mark

Is there a way to block light beyond a certain intensity?i need to block light beyond a certain limit, say 50cd. the source is emitting light of varying intensity. If the light entering is 45cd, it should be allowed. If the light entering is 60cd, only 50 cd should be allowed and the remaning 10cd should not be allowed. is there a way?

Hi Vikas,
thank you very much for answering.
in my case, it is a glass and its size cannot be varied.
Can you please explain the way to achieve my requirement, like what material or coating to be used?
