Imax/Imin = [(\sqrt{I_{1}^{}} +\sqrt{I_{2}^{}})/(\sqrt{I_{1}^{}}\sqrt{I_{2}^{}})]2 = [(\sqrt{I_{2}/I_{1}} +1)/(\sqrt{I_{2}/I_{1}} – 1 )]2
              = [(2+1)/(2-1)]2 = 9.
