Hello Student,

Well the following relation ship explains that-
Fringe width (for dark and bright bands):

D * wavelength / d
where, D = distance between screen and coherent sources (metres),

wavelength = wavelength of light used is experiment (nanometres),

d = distance between the 2 coherent sources (millimetres).
