i read somewhere that when we place an object between pole and focus of convex mirror , we get an enlarged real image on the real side of the mirror.how can we place the object behind the mirror and still get the image ??+ we are taught that we get only diminished images in all cases in case of convex mirror.please give a proper explanation thanks

Hi gaurav,

Thats simply not possible if we r taking into cosideration only a single convex mirror for image formation.

However , assume that we placed a Convex lens in front of a convex mirror , then the real image of the object  formed by the convex lens  behind the convex mirror will act as a virtual object for the convex mirror which in turn will produce a real image of the object. In such cases, real images can be made to have been formed using covex mirrors
