It is given that near and far points of a person is 40cm and 250cm respectively.i want 2 know wat is the meaning of near& far points.

Dear student,

Modern testing methods used by eye doctors have established a norm to use in order to describe perfect vision or 20/20 vision. For all intensive purposes this is what you should be referring to. On the near point you are right there as well. Although the actual near distance may vary depending on an individual's natural lens's accomodative capacity eye doctors will accept the concept of the 25 cm as a standard.
