 Optical Density:
Optical density is a measure of a materials ability to pass light. Optical density is the ratio of
speed of light in the two media.
Mass Density:
Mass density is mass per unit volume.
The mass density of an optically denser medium may be lesser than that of an optically rarer
medium.
