In two seconds, the body `A` has moved 4 meter. {That is applying the formula S=ut+1/2at^2.} The particle `B` starts one second later and therefore, has travelled for one second only. Applying the same formula, the distance moved is 1 meter.. Now, provided that both the particles are moving in the same direction, this distance between them would be 4-1 = 3 meters.
