There are 2 sets of apparatus of YDSE.In set A the phase difference between two waves emanating from the slits does not change with time.Whereas In set B the phase difference between two waves emanating changes rapidly with time. Deduce the expression for the resultant intensity in both the above mentioned set up assuming that the waves have sme Amplitude and same wavelength.

To calculate the intensity in the second setup, the exact variation of intensity with time will be required
