Show that if two SHM x= Asinwt and Bsinwt execute then path will be elliptical

x/A = sin wt ….….….…....1
y/B = cos wt ….….….….….2
Square both and add … you will get an ellipse equation.
But, in second equation, you are given sinwt
so RHS would be 2sin²wt, then you bcan simplfy into a general equation, but it would be a function of phase difference.
