If frequency of oscillation of particle is n 
then displacement x = Asin(nt)
and potential energy PE = ½Kx2 = ½KA2sin2(nt)
So PE = ½KA2(1- cos(2nt))/2 = ¼KA2 – ¼KA2cos(2nt)
So clearly frequency of oscillation of potential energy is 2n.
