Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity with respect to time. Acceleration =change in velocity/time. Its SI unit is m/s^2.
Scalar quantities are those who have only magnitude and no direction. Ex. Mass
Vector quantities are those who have magnitude as well as direction. Ex velocity, force, displacement
