Could we ever construct a true simple pendulum? Explain your answer.

A pendulum will be true when torque is directly proportional to angular displacement. But in angular motion the displacement varies as Sin θ, which is no longer linear with torque. Therefore making a true pendulum is limited for very small angular displacement for which Sin θ ≈ θ
