total energy = \frac{1}{2}mA^{2}w^{^{2}}

so if mass is doubled energy will get doubled

Total energy in SHM is given by E = (½)mA2.
So If the mass is double keeping amplitude same,then total energy of S.H.M. Will become double.

Total energy is misprinted, it is given by the formula
total energy E = ( ½ ) mw2A2.
