In case of closed organ pipe , n(v/f) = 4l ,where n is a natural number , l is the length of the pipe , v is the velocity of sound , f is the frequency. This formula can also be written as (nv)/4l = f , now for f to be minimum , n should be equal to 1 .After putting rest of the values , we get length l = 17cm as the answer.
