Sol. . A = 1 mm = 10–3 m, m = 6 g/m = 6 * 10–3 kg/m T = 60 N, f = 200 Hz ∴ V = √T /m = 100 m/s a) Paverage = 2π2 mv A2f2 = 0.47 W b) Length of the string is 2 m. So, t = 2/100 = 0.02 sec. Energy = 2π2 mvf2A2t = 9.46 mJ.
