The mass of moon is 1/81of the earth but the gravitational pull is 1/6 of the earth it is due to the fact that

gravitational force not onle depends upon mass,it is also depends upon radius.

ge = GMe/Re²

gm=G Mm/Rm²

gm/ge  = (Mm/Me) * (Re/Rm)²
