According to brewsters law, when a ray of light is incident on optical medium, and undergoes simultaneous reflection and refraction such that the reflected and refracted rays are perpendicular then those rays are plane polaroized and the refrative index of second media with respect to first media is equal to the tangent of angle of incidence. In this case, the answer is tan i

we can get the answer by using snells law:  na*sin(i)=nb*sin(r).

By snell''s law nasin(i)=nbsin(90-i)

                             sin(i)=nbCos(i)  (na=1)

                      sin(i)/Cos(i)=nb

nb=Tan(i)

        The refractive index of glass is Tan(i)
