Pls explain: We say resonance is the condition when energy transfer becomes maximum...when natural frequency of the air column becomes equal to frequency of the tuning fork... In resonance tube we obtain resonance at lengths λ/4, 3λ/4 and so on....my question is that...the frequencies at these lengths are v/4l, 3v/4l and so on...so how will these be equal to the same frequency of the tuning fork?

Hello
These are the length of the tube where the resonance occurs
NOT THE WAVELENTH OF THE WAVE.
The wave is still vibrating with same frequency and wavelength not changed either.
So frequency is still same.
