Flag Vectors> If a rigid body is rotating about an axis...
question mark

If a rigid body is rotating about an axis passing through the point 2î- j-k and parallel to î-2j+2k with an angular velocity 3 radians/sec, then find the velocity of the point of the rigid body whose position vector is 2î+3j-4k.

In this problem, we would like to have the velocity of the point whose position vector is (r = 2î+3j-4k.) along the axis of vector (î-2j+2k).
Vpoint = Vcm + r sin@ w (where, angle @ is in between position vector and vector î-2j+2k )..
Actually, Vcm is zero, because no rolling but only rotation.
Also, the in the relation (v = r w), r should be in tangential direction with velocity vector.
Proceed, in this way and calculate the answer...
Good Luck….….…..
