Dear student
If u be the initial velocity
Then
Maximum height = u²/2g
(3/4) u²/2g = ut - 1/2 gt²
t² - (2u/g)t + (3/4)(u²/g²) = 0
Now solve for t
t will come as
t = 3u/g
And
t = u/g
Hence
Ratio = 1/2
