The answer given is AC. But I wan''t to know how?

Given:

a.b=0 (a is perpendicular to b)

b.c=0 (b is perpendicular to c)

thus b is perpendicular to both a and c.

Therefore,  a.c=0; if they are distinct vectors and if they are same then a.c=a.a=1
