What is the difference between Colinear And Coplaner vectors?

Plz describe with some ex. or image....

Dear student,

points are colinear if they belong to the same line

non-colinear, means that they do not belong to the same line

coplanar, is that points belong to the same plane

non-coplanar is that they do not belong to the same plane.

1)collinear vectors are those which are along same straight line...

eg) A = 2i+j+k

      B=4i+2j+2k

here B = 2(2i+j+k) = 2A

these are collinear...

2)coplaner vectors are those which are in same plane....

 A =i+j , B  =i

both of these are in XY plane ,hence coplaner..
